1. Using Android Application/App for Cheque Book Request

Step 1:

Just open your HDFC Mobile Banking Android App. If you do not already own the app, you can download it from the Play store.

Step 2:

Click on your account, normally the Big Balance number takes you to your account’s more options. You’ll see the following screen.

Click on Request a cheque book.

Step 4:

Make sure your address is updated in HDFC net banking portal, and just click on the confirm button to receive your check book in the next 3-4 working days from HDFC mobile app.

Note: HDFC Bank allows only 25 free checkbook leaves to be requested for free in a year. Additional chequebook of 25 leaves will be charged @ Rs. 75 + applicable taxes.

2. Request with HDFC Netbanking

Step 1:

Login to HDFC Netbanking site here.

On the left sidebar pane, click on the request drop-down Menu.

Step 2:

You will see the Cheque Book section inside this menu of HDFC Bank.

Step 3:

You will have to select your account here. And click on the big blue Continue button.

Step 4:

Again on this window double-check your address is the same as your actual address. If not update your KYC and try again.

If your address is right, click on the Accept button and continue to confirm your HDFC cheque book request.

As mentioned previously you should receive your checkbook within 3 working days in Metro locations and maybe a day or two other locations.

3.  Request Cheque Book by HDFC Bank SMS Banking

Another fastest way that does not involve any internet or net banking or smartphones, something older people might prefer is SMS Banking request for cheque book.

Just simply send an SMS to avail of this facility. Just type chq and send it to 5676712. 

That’s it. You will receive the confirmation and you’re good to go.
